Patrick Burgoyne has been the editor of Creative Review magazine since 1999. Before joining the magazine (as Staff Writer) he worked in marketing, first for the Body Shop and later for the University of Westminster, whilst also moonlighting as a writer for magazines such as The Big Issue. He is also the author of several books on design and visual culture and has written for many publications, including The Guardian, The Independent, Scotland on Sunday, Arena and La Repubblica.

Jonathan Barnbrook is a graphic designer, type designer and motion graphics director. Most well known for his collaborations with David Bowie, Damien Hirst and Adbusters. He runs his own studio ‘Barnbrook’ and his font company ‘Virusfonts’ based in London as well as releasing fonts through Californian font company ‘Emigre’. He teaches and exhibits widely, his contribution to graphic design was rewarded with a major retrospective at the Design Museum in London in 2007.

Daniel Rhatigan is a senior type designer at Monotype Imaging, based in the UK. He worked as a designer and typographer in Boston and New York for 15 years before coming to study at the University of Reading, and then research and design non-Latin typeface families, concentrating on Indic scripts. He also lectures on typography and branding in the Netherlands and the UK.

Ken Soohoo is director of UI technologies for Monotype Imaging. He is responsible for overseeing the design and development of integrating fonts and font technologies with the SpectraWorks’ embedded GUI development tools to allow OEMs to more effectively differentiate their offerings, reduce time to market and expand their products’ appeal in markets across the globe. In 1996, Soohoo co-founded Planetweb and was its president and chief executive officer. Here, he was responsible for Planetweb’s flagship product SpectraWorks’ software, a hardware- and OS-independent suite of technologies for developing embedded graphical user interfaces quickly and inexpensively. With a background in software engineering and programming, Mr. Soohoo has been a thought leader and hands-on developer in home entertainment since creating his first video game on an Atari system at age 16. Mr Soohoo is credited with five US patents, three with Planetweb. Mr Soohoo has spoken at major industry events including CES, Comdex, Digital Hollywood, E3 and Agenda.

Since joining Fjord in 2008, Konstantinos has significantly contributed to shaping and defining Fjord’s experience design offering. He has led teams to deliver game-changing solutions to most of Fjord’s key clients.
